D-J-Qualls

Donald Joseph Qualls (also known as DJ Qualls) is an American actor, producer and model. He shot to fame after his part as a character in Road Trip. Since then DJ Qualls has appeared in 20 feature films such like The New Guy Hustle & Flow or The Core. In addition to his work with Road Trip he's appeared in over 22 TV shows like Breaking Bad Supernatural Srubs Lost Law & Order & others. Qualls is fighting Hodgkin's lymphoma since the age of 14 old. Two years after treatment, the cancer has gone into Remission. The treatment started so early that it produced a devastating impact on the body and slowed his growth. When he was a kid, he was accustomed to the poverty of his life and therefore financial stability appeared to be his top priority. In an interview, he said that if I do not have financial stability or I feel lost within the universe, I'll be miserable. He also recalls his own childhood and wants to do something about the problem of bullying. "Cruelty hurts me deeply," he said. On and off screen, DJ would love to be father figure. But, he admits that directors aren't often casting DJs for these types of characters. Someday he would love to become a dad as he is capable of dedicating less time on his work and more to the child he has.
